 BodhiGold Quick Start Instructions

  1. In Microsoft Windows, go to Start>Run.
  2. Use the Browse button to locate where you saved the BodhiGold exe file you downloaded.
  3. Click OK.
  4. Answer Yes to the InstallShield Self-extracting software to start unpacking the software.

  5. Click Next to the Welcome screen.

  6. Read the License Agreement then select Yes.

  7. Read the Infosoft Readme file then click Next.
  8. Click Next to install BodhiGold to the default directory (c:\Program Files\Infosoft\BodhiGold).
  9. Click Next to create a Infosoft\BodhiGold folder in Microsoft® Windows.
  10. Click Next to begin copying files.
  11. Click Finish.
  12. Click Yes to install the Rover software. Rover enables quick upgrading of BodhiGold via the Internet. From within BodhiGold you select, Help>Upgrade to launch Rover and check for upgrades.
  13. Click Next to the Welcome screen.
  14. Read the License Agreement then select Yes.
  15. Click Next to install Rover to the default directory (c:\Program Files\Infosoft\Rover).
  16. Click Next to create a Infosoft\Rover folder in Microsoft® Windows.
  17. Click Next to begin copying files.
  18. Click Finish.
  19. To start BodhiGold, do the following:
    Start > Programs > Infosoft > BodhiGold > Freeway

  20. On your desktop, double-click on the BodhiGold icon.
  21. Select your Region from the drop-down box, then click x (i.e. United States).
  22. Select your Nearest city from the drop-down box, then click x.
  23. Select your Chart Software from the drop-down box, then click x.

  24. A dialog box will appear explaining how BodhiGold has been setup. This box includes information on your location, data selection, charting software and database directories. Take note of this information.

  25. Click OK to test the software.
  26. To download 6-months history, click on the Configure button.
  27. Click on the + sign next to United States
  28. Click on the + sign next to NYSE Consolidated

  29. Click on Equity
  30. In this Window, change the lmported and Exported dates back six months.

  31. Close the Window by clicking on the cross (x) in the top right of the screen.
  32. Click on Indice.
  33. In this Window change the lmported and Exported dates back six months.
  34. Close the Window by clicking on the cross (x) in the top right of the screen.
  35. Repeat the above for any other markets you may have selected data for.
  36. Close the Product Manager screen by clicking on the cross (x).
  37. Click the Catchup button.
